Runyan Industrial Gas Analyzers, Inc. (RIGAS) was incorporated in Ohio in October, 2002.  After nearly two years of planning and preparation, RIGAS opened for business on July 18, 2003.

RIGAS is firmly committed to earning, every day, our reputation as a dependable supplier of high quality repair services and technical support to users of process analytical equipment.  By combining our in-depth hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology, RIGAS' dedicated team of responsive employees delivers high quality service and exceptional value.

In May 2006, RIGAS outgrew its first facility and moved to a business suite on the north end of Wooster.

To date, RIGAS has come through on some very interesting customer requests ...
  • Fabricate a new CEMS (continuous emissions monitoring system) cabinet built around the customer's exisiting (and fairly old) analyzers.
  • Fabricate a simple upright 19" wide cabinet with a gas handling system (no conditioner) for four NGA gas analyzers plus its platform.
  • Supervision of a valve warranty repair job at a cement plant (of over 1200 valves!)
  • Fabricate a "bullet proof" COMS DAS (continuous opacity monitoring system, data acquisition system) (bullet proof implies that the collected data is VERY well protected ... dual UPSs, RAID5 data storage, a second data storage server, and tape backup for offsite storage. The only thing it doesn't have is Carbonite!!)
  • Fix a box of NGA boards
  • Fix a box of 815EX boards
  • Fix a box 951A boards
  • Attempt to figure out if and why a NDIR analyzer reads different from a gas correlation analyzer on the same stream
  • Correct the installation of many poorly mounted opacity analyzers
